This will now take place on Monday January 27th at 7pm at The Poppy and Pint.
The meeting will be the rescheduled talk on Bats of Wytham by Dr Dani Linton. You do not need to book a place at the meeting but there is a meal at 5.30 before the talk and you will need to book a seat with John at parker.john113@gmail.com with at least 2 weeks notice. Your place is not booked until you receive a confirmation letter (around 2 weeks before the event).
Dr Dani Linton (Wytham Bat Project 2006 - 2019) has coordinated box checks looking for bat roosts rather than bird nests across Wytham Woods for over a decade, amassing a dataset of nearly 3000 day-roosts, containing seven species and over 20,000 bat occupations. This talk will provide an introduction to her research on the social organisation, breeding ecology, and population dynamics, of a woodland bat community
