    Holy Trinity Collegiate Church Visit (Fully Booked)

    An exciting opportunity has come up at Holy Trinity Collegiate Church, Tattershall, Lincolnshire to have a tour of the church and to see large roosts of Soprano pipistrelles and Daubentons emerge within the church. Other species recorded in the church, though not thought to be breeding include; Common pipistrelle, Nathusius’ pipistrelle, Natterer’s, Whiskered & Brown Long Eared. (700+ bats roost here!!)

    The church is part of the Heritage Lottery Fund Bats in Churches project with a grant of £3.8 million, to find solutions to ensure the churches and their communities are able to thrive alongside their bats. More information on this project can be found at:

    The visit is on Saturday 4th May starting at 6.00pm and will be led by Ian Nixon from Lincolnshire Bat Group who will give the tour and explain how the project has progressed to date. To book e-mail parker.john113@gmail.com
